How a buyer can evaluate the product
Free projects combine Postgres, Auth, APIs, Storage, Functions and Realtime with framework quickstarts. The public docs support creating and connecting a database before a sales conversation.
Production review adds project pausing and availability, backups and point-in-time recovery, compute size, egress, log drains, custom domains, security reports, support and migration. Team and Enterprise requirements may sit above the initial Pro workload.
The pricing and billing pages document Free, Pro, Team and Enterprise, with organization subscriptions, included quotas, usage overages and project add-ons. Enterprise uses a sales path; Pro and Team can also be purchased through AWS Marketplace.

What to apply
A useful migration plan treats the free project as technical proof and builds a separate production bill of materials. The plan label alone is insufficient because workload usage and project add-ons can be material, while enterprise controls and support may require a quote.
Method and limits
We reviewed the listed first-party pages on 2026-09-08 and compared them with the July 2026 research record. We assessed what a technical buyer can verify before contacting sales; we did not test the product or validate vendor-reported customer outcomes.
- The underlying proof-wave record was last verified 3 July 2026 and was refreshed against public pricing on 8 September.
- We did not benchmark database performance or availability.
- Vendor-reported adoption figures are excluded from the analytical conclusion.
