Summary
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep users logged in, secure the Service, remember preferences, understand product usage, provide support, and measure shared-deck engagement. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy applies to accountmade.com, the AccountMade application, shared-deck pages on accountmade.com, custom-domain shared decks, and related services.
When this policy says "cookies," it also includes localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, SDKs, tags, scripts, and similar technologies.
2. Strictly necessary technologies
These are required to provide the Service and cannot be disabled through AccountMade settings. Blocking them in your browser may break the Service.

4. Analytics and diagnostics
We use analytics and diagnostics to understand usage, debug errors, improve reliability, and prevent abuse.

Our product analytics (PostHog) runs in cookieless mode and sets no analytics cookies, so we do not show an analytics consent banner. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings and send a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor where required by law.
5. Shared-deck telemetry
When someone views a deck shared through accountmade.com or another AccountMade-hosted share page, AccountMade may collect first-party telemetry such as:
- deck open event;
- slide progression;
- time on slide;
- timestamp;
- referrer;
- approximate location inferred from IP address;
- browser, device, and operating-system metadata;
- access-control events such as password prompt or blocked access; and
- duplicate-to-workspace events where enabled.
Shared-deck telemetry is used to provide viewer analytics to the workspace, secure shared pages, troubleshoot delivery, and prevent abuse. We do not use shared-deck telemetry for third-party advertising.
Customers are responsible for providing legally required notices to deck recipients and viewers where they use viewer analytics.
6. Support chat
If support chat is enabled and you use it, Channel.io may set session technologies to maintain the support conversation and related context.
7. What we do not use
We do not use:
- third-party advertising cookies;
- retargeting pixels;
- social-media advertising pixels;
- cross-context behavioral advertising technologies; or
- cookie-based sale or sharing of personal information.
8. Your choices
Cookie preferences
Analytics runs cookieless and sets no cookies requiring a banner. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent login, deck editing, sharing, or support features from working.
Global Privacy Control
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale/share and as a rejection of non-essential analytics where required by applicable law. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising regardless of GPC.
Do Not Track
We do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals because there is no consistent legal or technical standard for those signals. Use GPC or cookie preferences instead.

10. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and update the effective date. For material changes, we will provide notice where required.
