Acceptable Use Policy

Summary
Do not use Accountmade to break the law, harm people, infringe rights, deceive recipients, attack systems, bypass limits, misuse AI, or publish unlawful content. This policy applies to all users, workspaces, integrations, generated decks, exports, shared links, and public deck pages.
This summary is not legally binding. The sections below are.
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to your use of Accountmade, including the website, application, deck generator, editor, exports, CRM integrations, APIs, shared decks, acmd.co, custom domains, and support channels.
This AUP supplements the Terms of Service. If this AUP conflicts with the Terms, the Terms control.
2. Do not break the law
You must not use Accountmade to:
- violate laws, regulations, court orders, sanctions, or export-control rules;
- engage in fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, bribery, corruption, or deceptive commercial practices;
- facilitate terrorism, violent extremism, or imminent unlawful action;
- distribute or solicit child sexual abuse material or exploit minors;
- sell or facilitate regulated goods or services where unlawful;
- violate privacy, data protection, confidentiality, publicity, consumer-protection, or employment laws; or
- interfere with investigations, legal rights, or regulator obligations.
3. Do not harm people
You must not use Accountmade to:
- harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, abuse, or dox people;
- impersonate people or organizations in a deceptive way;
- run phishing, credential theft, social engineering, scam, or pretexting campaigns;
- generate or distribute non-consensual intimate content;
- encourage self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or serious physical harm;
- discriminate unlawfully against protected classes; or
- create content that creates a material risk of physical, financial, or reputational harm.
4. Do not infringe rights
You must not use Accountmade to:
- copy, upload, generate, export, or share content you do not have rights to use;
- infringe copyrights, trademarks, design rights, database rights, publicity rights, privacy rights, or moral rights;
- misappropriate trade secrets or confidential information;
- use logos, fonts, screenshots, customer data, or third-party materials without permission;
- falsely present decks as created by someone else; or
- remove or obscure required notices, attribution, watermarks, or rights information.
You are responsible for the content you submit, generate, export, present, publish, or send.
5. Do not submit prohibited sensitive data
Unless a separate written agreement expressly allows it, you must not submit the following to Accountmade through prompts, source documents, URLs, CRM fields, deck content, shared decks, support messages, or integrations:
- payment card numbers, bank account numbers, or financial account credentials;
- passwords, API keys, secrets, access tokens, or reset links;
- government identifiers such as passport numbers, resident registration numbers, national IDs, tax IDs, or driver's license numbers;
- protected health information or medical records;
- biometric identifiers;
- precise geolocation;
- children's personal data;
- special-category data under GDPR Article 9, such as health, religion, political opinions, trade-union membership, genetic data, biometric data for identification, sex life, or sexual orientation; or
- sensitive personal information under US state privacy laws unless the Service expressly supports it and you have a lawful basis.
6. Use CRM data responsibly
When you connect HubSpot, Salesforce, or another integration, you must:
- use only data you have a lawful basis to process;
- map only fields needed for deck generation or personalization;
- respect opt-outs, suppression lists, consent status, and marketing restrictions;
- avoid syncing sensitive data unless separately agreed;
- keep integration scopes limited and appropriate;
- comply with the third-party platform's terms; and
- provide required notices to prospects, customers, and recipients.
7. Use AI outputs responsibly
AI-generated decks may contain factual errors, hallucinations, biased content, outdated information, non-unique content, or content that does not match your intent.
You must not use Accountmade to:
- generate misinformation, impersonation, phishing, spam, scams, or deceptive sales material;
- create regulated professional advice without qualified human review;
- misrepresent AI-generated content as human-created where disclosure is legally required or materially important to the recipient;
- generate content intended to manipulate, defraud, or exploit recipients;
- make unsupported claims about financial performance, legal compliance, medical outcomes, product safety, or customer results; or
- use outputs without reviewing them for accuracy, lawfulness, confidentiality, and third-party rights.
8. Share decks responsibly
When you share decks through acmd.co, custom domains, or exports, you are responsible for what you publish and who can access it.
You must not share decks that contain confidential information, personal data, trade secrets, credentials, regulated data, or third-party content unless you have the right and lawful basis to do so.
You must use available privacy controls appropriately, including password protection, expiration, duplication controls, custom-domain settings, and access restrictions.
9. Do not attack or abuse the Service
You must not:
- probe, scan, or test the Service without authorization, except for good-faith security research reported under the Security Overview;
- introduce malware, viruses, destructive code, or malicious files;
- bypass authentication, permissions, usage limits, rate limits, billing controls, watermarks, or security controls;
- overload, disrupt, scrape, crawl, harvest, or reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law;
- automate account creation, deck generation, CRM sync, exports, or shared-link views in abusive ways;
- interfere with other users' access;
- use the Service to train, benchmark, or improve a competing AI deck-generation or presentation-generation service without our written permission; or
- resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to unrelated third parties unless your plan or a signed agreement allows it.
10. Respect plan limits and fair use
You must not evade plan limits by creating multiple accounts, sharing seats, rotating credentials, manipulating workspace ownership, looping regeneration, flooding exports, or using automation inconsistent with your plan.
We may rate-limit, suspend, queue, or restrict features to protect the Service and enforce fair use.
11. Reporting violations
To report abuse, unlawful content, rights violations, or problematic shared decks, use the Content Reporting and Takedown Policy or email legal@accountmade.com.

12. Enforcement
If we determine that you violated this AUP, we may:
- remove or restrict content;
- disable shared links or custom domains;
- disable CRM sync, exports, generation, or other features;
- rate-limit usage;
- suspend or terminate accounts or workspaces;
- preserve evidence;
- notify affected users, customers, platforms, regulators, or law enforcement where appropriate; or
- take other action allowed by the Terms or law.
Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure. We may act immediately for urgent issues, including active attacks, unlawful content, child-safety issues, phishing, malware, fraud, credential exposure, data exposure, or severe legal/security risk.
13. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. We will post the updated version and provide notice of material changes where required or practicable.
